And if you watch “Castle” Nathan Fillion often makes Firefly references. He event dressed as Mal for their Halloween episode. :3the halloween episode was awesome.

“space cowboy!”
“there aren’t any cows in space, and hasn’t it been like 5 years since you wore that last?”
also, last weeks castle had a reference: “i was aiming for his head!”
I think there was also an episode when Esposito and Ryan were both wearing blue plastic gloves.
My boyfriend was in New York for the last episode so he gave me the heads up about that reference three hours early.
