I don’t know if you know this, but very recently a tumblr has been launched for show people. It’s like MLIA or FML, but for thespians. It’s called “Life is Theatrical” and works the same way. you should check it out. It’s just lifeistheatrical.tumblr.com.
Because what kind of thespian could afford an actual domain site?

I always like to know that there’s more theatre people out there on Tumblr. I really enjoy connecting with other people in our community. (Especially when, in real life, people tend to not know theatre tech exists).

I'm proud of our Technical Theatre department
Because the professors in tech theatre went to better universities and have accomplished much more all over this country than the acting professors have.
It makes me feel better about being a technician.
Lighting Professor: I can't do simple math in my head anymore. That's the downfall of dying and then being in a coma for several days.
Lighting Professor: I was once almost set on fire at a Korn concert... But that's a story for another time.

Design Professor: (In a German accent) My name is Hans Gruber and I am the designer for Inspecting Carol.
Technical Director: Pleasure to meet you Hans.
Design Professor: (German accent) When [design professor] is not proud of a set he has designed Hans comes and takes credit for it.
